80% RPMI 1640 + 20% FBS + HFCS ("Hybridoma Fusion and Cloning
Supplement") for the first 1-2 weeks post-thawing cells are difficult to culture! maintain
at ca. 0.05-0.5 x 106 cells/ml; split saturated culture 1:4 to 1:8 every 2-3 days; seed
out at ca. 0.2 x 106 cells/ml at 37C with 5% CO2 maximal density at ca. 0.7 x 106
cells/ml (which should not be exceeded)
